Tuition

Tuition is to be paid on a quarterly basis at the beginning of each quarter. Payment plans are available; however, payments and/or payment plan arrangements must be made prior to the beginning of each payment period.

Past Due Invoices

Invoice payment is due within 30 days. Please be advised that outstanding invoices will incur a $30 late fee per month until the invoice has been paid in full.

Administrative Fee

All students who choose to enroll in sessions at the beginning of each quarter – before the registration deadline (24 hours after the start of the quarter) - will not be required to pay any administrative fees. However, those students who choose late enrollment will be charged a $50 late registration fee. In addition, the students who choose late registration are not eligible for any makeup-lessons in that quarter, do not qualify to participate in the Annual LSM Competition and cannot benefit from any LSM discounts in the quarter they registered after the deadline has passed. These students may, however, participate in the quarterly recital.

Missed Lesson

Due to heavy teaching and performance schedules, it is not possible to schedule make-up lessons when a student misses a lesson for any reason without prior notification to the instructor. The only exception is in cases of emergency such as sickness, death in the family or inclement weather. Sports activities, parties or school field trips are not considered an emergency and any disputes or misunderstandings regarding such activities will be at the discretion of the LSM Board. If the instructor misses a lesson, the lesson will either be rescheduled at a time that is mutually agreed upon by the instructor and the student, or a credit for the lesson will be given on the following quarter's tuition. Parents are encouraged to trade lessons with other students when conflicts arise, but the instructor should not be asked to facilitate a trade. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the time/location of a traded lesson. Please notify the instructor of a cancellation or trade at least 48 hours prior to the lesson.

Missed Lessons Due to School Field Trips

Class field trips are not an excused absence and missed lessons will not be refunded. Since schools plan these off-site activities at least a week prior, it is the responsibility of the parent/student to notify the LSM instructor of missing sessions due to school field trips. Failure to notify the instructors at least 48 hours in advance will result in non-refundable tuition without the possibility of a makeup lesson. The one individual make-up lesson for an excused absence policy still applies in this case.

Make-up Classes and Cancellations

Excused Absences: For individual lessons, students must give a minimum 48-hour advance cancellation notice to be considered excused. Students are required to fill out and submit the Lesson Cancellation Form. Only one (1) individual make-up lesson for an excused absence will be provided per ten-week session and make-up lessons must be taken either during the Make-up Week following quarter-end or within the same month the student missed a session. Please keep in mind that by default, the First Quarter does not have a Make-up Week meaning that missed lessons will be forfeited without the option to be reimbursed.

Unexcused Absences: Unexcused absences are absences for which a student has not given the mandatory 48-hour notice as specified above. Make-ups for unexcused absences are not offered, and lessons missed due to unexcused absences are non-refundable.

Make-Up Sessions for Group Classes or Ensembles: Make-up sessions for group classes or ensembles are not offered unless Logos School of Music cancels or re-schedules a class or ensemble. Make-up sessions due to student absences are not offered for group classes and ensembles, and classes missed due to student absences are non-refundable.

Course Cancellation: Logos School of Music reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment, and all paid student tuition will be refunded in the case of course cancellation. Final course cancellation decisions will be made at the end of the second week of each session.

Access to the Building

Parents’ access inside the building is allowed on a case-by-case basis. Parents must contact Daniel Stef, LSM Administrator, or Stelu Aioanei, Music Director, to request approval for access to the building.

Publicity Policy

Photographs of students engaged in instruction, rehearsal or performance activities at Logos School of Music may be used in Logos School of Music publications, local newspapers, magazines, electronic media, and related publicity materials. Completion of registration materials validated by your signature constitutes consent and permission by the student and students' parent(s)/guardian(s) to use the student's name and/or image for any advertising, publicity, marketing and packaging.

Refund Policy

LSM’s refund policy is as follows:

  • Students withdrawing more than two days before the first session/lesson will receive a full tuition refund minus the registration fee.

  • Students registering for classes that are six weeks or less in program duration are not eligible for a refund after the start date.

  • Students withdrawing from classes during the first three (3) weeks of a session will receive a pro-rated tuition refund.

  • If a student withdraws during the fourth (4th) week, a tuition refund of 50% will be given.

  • There will be no refunds after the fifth (5th) week of a class session.

  • Registration fees are not refundable.

  • Please allow three to four weeks for processing of refunds.
